Yes, comrades, the London Science Museum claims Legos are homophobic because the blocks are seen as "male and female."
Since 2022 this “Science™ Museum” has been using an exhibit to spread fishy rumors about Legos (and other things). It is named,“Stories of Queer Communities, Experiences and Identities.”
The exhibit is a self-guided tour produced by the Gender and Sexuality Network, a group of staff and volunteers who say they are “committed to creating more visibility and inclusion for the LGBTQ+ community in the Science Museum” (because there’s nothing more scientific than deviant sexuality, right?).
Regarding Legos, the tour explains that “The top of the brick with sticking out pins is male, the bottom of the brick with holes to receive the pins is female, and the process of the two sides being put together is called mating.” (Actually, the holes do not “receive” the pins.)
But then the tour puts forth the proposition—without scientific evidence or authoritative sources™—that because the public believes there are only male or female blocks coming together to form a union, genders such as non-binary or gender fluid are discounted.
That’s quite a leap of logic. In natural reality, the simple fact is that some things fit into other things and sexual metaphors for this are easy to understand analogies.
One would think that the Gender and Sexuality Network would describe Lego blocks, in which each block contains both sexual connectors, as hermaphroditic. But no, it evades the scientific biological fact that male and female are the only two sexes, guided instead by gender identitarianism, a delusion derived from a mental illness.
It further claims that the Legos company is homophobic because the male and female bricks reinforce heterosexuality as being “the norm.” Sadly, the Gender and Sexuality Network is so disconnected from science fact, it doesn’t realize that heterosexuality is the norm or that Legos are made by a company that ardently promotes LGBT DEI, or— that some things simply do not work.
The exhibit is loaded with other nonsense that can be sampled here:
